Preschool Dance
Students Ages 3-5
Are you ready for your little one to begin a new activity?
Dance is the place to start!
At Crazy Moves Dance Studio, our 3-5-year-old students learn routine in structures that are a part of class every week, like our fun warm-up dances, weekly student introduction, dance exercises, and every student’s favorite way to end a class, Free Dance! Keeping this age group on a consistent and expectable schedule helps them flourish in learning and growth. Dance classes are the perfect way to take steps to prepare them for being in a preschool or kindergarten classroom!
Aside from students learning how to adjust to being in a classroom, dance is incredible for a child’s development of bodily awareness. We strengthen children’s gross motor skills, like jumping, spinning, and skipping, as well as their fine motor skills, like pointing toes, focusing on details, and finger dexterity. Developing a child’s gross and fine motor skills is vital to building strength, coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.
In addition to keeping strong class structures in place, we cap our 3-5 classes at 6 students. This is the least distracting environment for their age while keeping the class large enough for the students to grow their social skills. Families can expect personalized attention from class teachers and assistants.

Stepping up and moving forward!
Our intermediate classes are designed to help students improve upon their basic skills. These students must have an understanding of the basic dance terminology and skills. Upon these skills, we strive to improve them while adding in new and more difficult moves.
Dancers will focus on improving their precision and skills while mastering new turns, jumps, and leaps. The class also emphasizes rhythm, counting their music, and work on facial expressions. This encourages dancers to relate with their movements and convey emotion through their performances.
Dancers will explore more challenging choreography, learning to execute combinations with confidence and ease. Classes include styles such as ballet, lyrical, jazz, or hip-hop.
